It has been making the rounds on social media that our very own Rihanna took it on her own hands to become a self made millionaire. From rags to riches, she is now a renowned successful musician and entrepreneur. Sources say musical guru is now worth $600M, 10 years post bankruptcy. Although some things may be questionable. The real question at hand is, can ordinary joe do it himself?

Rihanna has set the bar here, and with that she has proven that hard work is paramount for any success. Especially for black folks. She really is representing. I’m going to put it out there, anything worth celebrating never comes easy. Let’s take a look at what she is doing:

When Rihanna launched FENTY BEAUTY, many of her followers were moved by the idea behind it. She explains how the idea behind fenty came from the struggle of people of color in getting their desired shades in beauty products. It is no new news that the beauty industry wasn’t initially created for dark skinned folk. I said it, Riri is definitely changing the game.
